Vancouver Island Wedding Photographer / Nanaimo Wedding Photographer / Bohemian Styled Shoot

My heart absolutely explodes with joy when i think about these images. So many aspects of this shoot makes me fall beyond in love with photography. Becoming friends with the most quality people, working with talented vendors + capturing moments that pass us in the blink of an eye… all of these things combined truly, truly inspire me.

The light on this warm evening was nothing sort of spectacular + i felt so honoured (which is an understatement) to be the one behind the lens.

I hope you enjoy a few frames from this evening that i clearly cannot cush enough over…

A woman who has no limits on her dreams, respects + honour’s all + loves life each day, a true definition of beauty.

Thank you all so much for taking some time out of your day to read this little post! I would love to hear your thoughts by commenting below this image here…

Huge thank you to the amazing team who made this happen:

Vancouver Island Wedding Photographer / Nanaimo Wedding Photographer / Heather + Tom’s Engagement Photographs

It has been so wonderful getting to know Heather + Tom. After our initial meeting together (where i spilt ginger-ale all over our table + continued to embarrass myself numerous times, as i have a way of doing!) … Heather put aside my spilling ways  (love her!) + we really hit it off! We have had a few coffee dates consisting of many laughs, a few bagels, numerous lattes but most importantly i learnt a little about her + her soon to be husband, Tom. Heather + Tom fell in love as teenagers + quickly realized they had something pretty special. On their 10 year anniversary, Tom asked of Heather to not only be his forever high school sweetheart, but more importantly the one he could call forever, his wife.

Happy friday! I hope you enjoy these below photographs of their engagement…

love life, sabrina patrice xo

Vancouver Island Wedding Photographer // Nanaimo Wedding Photographer // Nina + Nick’s Engagement Photographs

One of the things i love most about photography is photographing best friends. Best friends who laugh together, share inside jokes together + best friends who have vowed to spend forever together. This is exactly what Nina + Nick are! After their family’s did their best to set them up (momma always knows best!) Nina + Nick decided to meet for a Starbucks + completely hit it off… Nina happily chatting away + Nick adoring each word.

I can’t wait for their July Wedding + even sooner than that, a few more coffee dates with this beautiful bride to be…

Nick built Nina a STUNNING solid wood deck off the back of their Island Home so we decided to start our session there. As a member of their family casually strolled on by, Nina asked if he could be included in a photo or two. Being a fellow cat lover myself, i was more than happy to agree!! I would be thrilled if every engagement session of mine started with this kind of family portrait. xo

Friends + Family, please feel free to leave Nick + Nina some love by commenting below this photo!
